For me, it's the usual work stuff with a meeting at 12pm EST, and then Google I/O is at 1pm EST so I'll certainly be tuning into that.
After that, it's just more work stuff and then maybe I'll check out the new season of Diablo IV that starts today.

I just installed #Fedora 40 on my old Alienware X14 R1. It works great and gaming on it still works thanks to Proton -- installing games from #Steam and #GOG (via @heroiclauncher). I need to get it customized and get some tools installed.
I haven't used Linux on a laptop since running it on my old #ThinkPad T450.
The only thing that doesn't work is the keyboard lighting and RGB customization. I'll have to see if I can find some workaround for that.
The only thing that I had to figure out was #nvidia drivers which required me to sign the drivers because of Secure Boot.

Finally finished Dust: An Elysian Tail. Took me an eternity and a half to finish it, but I savored every moment of it like a fine wine. This will probably go down as one of my all time fave Metroidvanias to play!

Decided to start a replay of Tomb Raider. Crazy to think the rebooted version is already 11 years old.
When I played this the first time around, I thought this scene looked incredible! And although some of the graphics in this game still stand up well today, it’s definitely showing its age!

I recently got a copy of #AnimalCrossing: Wild World and I couldn’t get past the naming portion of the intro without rolling my eyes. When asked to confirm your name the two responses available are "yes, it’s burly" or "yes, it’s cute" and that determines your character’s gender. It’s so comically stereotyped 😂

Forgot how fun the angel murder ride was. Running nicely on Steam Deck btw! It's Playable Status but it may as well be verified, no bugs thus far. I tweaked the official config a little more to my liking and it's just as efficient as on desktop now!

Nobody asked but Fallout 4 runs at between 25 and 45 FPS with an average well above 30 at native resolution (2256x1504) ultra settings on the Framework 13 AMD with bios game mode on.
I'm sure with a bit of tweaking that could be brought up above 30 on the low end if not 60 average. Not to mention enabling frame gen tech etc.
Finally made it to the end of Aragami! Still need to go back and grab more achievements, so it won't be getting uninstalled anytime soon.

My GuliKit KK3 Max arrived and I have been testing it out. Very nice controller. I like the triggers and the haptic feedback. The sticks have just the right amount of resistance. I wish it had mechanical ABXY buttons like my Gamesir T4 Cyclone Pro. #gaming #videogames

I played a bunch of #Forza Motorsports tonight. I never played it when it was released because it was apparently a disaster. It was 50% off on #Steam, so I picked up with the expectation that it would be worth it if it is at least 50% fun.
I had a lot of fun playing it. The one nit I have is that they changed the more energetic music of Forza Motorsports 7 to some boring music that seems to have been stolen from #Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Otherwise, it’s typical Forza Motorsports. Lots of pretty cars, some good track selection and well tuned for controller play — I will have to pull out my Logitech wheel and pedals this weekend to try Forza Motorsport with.

So I finished the newest Fallout 76 Season yesterday. Well...I got to level 100. Technically I can still get to 150, which makes me a little sad because that means I can no longer use XP gain to gain SCORE.😬🤷♂️
I do wish the cremator wasn't this "grenade launcher" type thing we got and would just be a more powerful/unique flamer. But I guess we got one of those already. I just feel it's too weak...🤦♂️

About 5-10 years ago there was an "MMO" Scrabble game called WordSquared. It was played by thousands on a (seemingly) endless board of scrabble with leaderboards and such.
Unfortunately, it shut down, I assume due to lack of funding. I always think about it every now and then and wish it was still around.😩
